Hempstead, N.Y. – The Hofstra Women's Soccer team will look to get back in the win column when Boston University makes the trip to Hofstra Soccer Stadium on Thursday at 7 p.m.

The game will be available via live stats and Pride Productions live video and audio. The audio-only broadcast can also be heard on 88.7 FM WRHU in Hempstead and the surrounding areas.

The Pride (1-1) split its Opening Weekend games in a pair of 1-0 decisions, topping Bucknell on the road on Friday before falling to Fairfield in Sunday's home opener. Preseason All-CAA selection Bella Richards netted the game-winner against the Bison, while redshirt-senior goalkeepers Jenna Borresen and Ashley Wilson made two saves apiece in the shutout.

The Terriers (0-2) dropped a pair of games on Opening Weekend, falling to Michigan, 3-1, and Michigan State, 2-0. Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year and reigning Rookie of the Year Anna Heilferty scored BU's lone goal of the weekend. The Terriers led the league with four preseason all-conference selections, and were predicted to finish second according to the preseeason poll, earning six first-place votes.

Hofstra and BU have a long-standing history, but the Pride earned its first-ever win over the Terriers in 2016 and has now won the past two meetings, 2-0 and 2-1.

Hofstra then waits a week for its next game, heading to Fordham for a 7 p.m. matchup on Aug. 30 to kick off a five-game road trip.
