BB: Hofstra Falls At Elon In Series Finale

Elon, NC - Hofstra rallied from a 4-1 deficit to get within one but came up short in a 5-3 loss to Elon Sunday at Latham Park. Elon's win completed a three-game Colonial Athletic Association series sweep for the Phoenix.

Hofstra made things interesting in the sixth, scoring twice to make it a 4-3 game. Kevin O'Connor and Vito Friscia delivered back-to-back two-out RBI singles to drive in Daniel Page and Matt Siedem, respectively.

The Phoenix added an insurance run in the seventh on Zach Evers solo home run to close out the scoring.
