After a scoreless second quarter for both teams, the Wildcats erupted for four unanswered goals in the third quarter as Luke Palmadesso scored off the opening face-off and Colin Crowley added a man-up goal 42 seconds later for a 5-0 advantage. Cuccinello added consecutive goals 1:35 apart near the midway point of the period to boost the lead to 7-1.
