Oscar Ramsay scored in the 14th minute as the Hofstra Men's Soccer team picked up a 1-0 Colonial Athletic Association victory over Delaware Saturday night at Grant Stadium. The win was Hofstra's third straight and extended the Pride's undefeated streak to eight games (6-0-2). It was also Hofstra's eighth consecutive shutout, which is the longest active streak in NCAA Division I.
Hofstra is now 6-3-3 on the season and 3-0-1 in the CAA. Delaware fell to 3-8 overall and 2-2 in league play.
Ramsay scored his second goal of the season as he deflected a shot from
Hendrik Hebbeker past Delaware keeper Todd Morton. Morton would make three saves on the night.

Alex Ashton did not record a save as the Blue Hens did not put a shot on goal.
The Pride will back in action Wednesday night at Northeastern with a 6 p.m. start time.
Notes:
-Ashton and Hofstra have not allowed a goal in 762 minutes.
-Hofstra is now 19-12-1 all-time versus Delaware.
-Ramsay's two goals this season have both been game-winners.
-Hebbeker's assist was the first of his career.
