Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra University Women's Soccer team hosts two tough Colonial Athletic Association games this week as the conference season hits the midway point. The Pride will host league-leading Northeastern Thursday night at 7 p.m. before welcoming William & Mary to Hofstra Soccer Stadium Sunday at 1 p.m. The game against Northeastern will be a rematch of the 2017 CAA Championship game, won by Hofstra (2-1).

Tickets for both games are available by visiting HofstraTickets.com or by calling the Hofstra Athletics Box Office during regular business hours at 516-HOF-TIXX. Fans can also purchase tickets on game day, beginning one hour before game time at Hofstra Soccer Stadium.

Hofstra is 9-4 on the season and 3-1 in the CAA. The Pride has won two consecutive games following a 2-1 victory against UNCW this past Sunday with Miri Taylor and Sabrina Bryan scoring goals to erase a 1-0 deficit in the second half. Taylor, who earned CAA Rookie of the Week accolades, has scored goals in each of the last two games. Hofstra is tied for second place in the CAA with Charleston and will be looking to maintain its standing in a quest for a CAA Championship berth and a first round bye. Lucy Porter leads the Pride in scoring with five goals and three assists. Jenn Buoncore has three goals and six assists, while Bryan has four goals and two assists. Jenna Borresen and Ashley Wilson have split time in goal and have combined for five shutouts and a 0.97 goals against average.

The Huskies are the lone undefeated team in CAA play at 4-0 and are riding a four-game winning streak. Overall, Northeastern has a 7-6-1 mark. The Huskies are led by reigning CAA Player of the Week, Hannah Rosenblatt, who leads the CAA in goals (seven) and points (16). Goalkeeper Nathalie Nidetch has a 0.24 goals against average and a .938 save percentage in conference play.

William & Mary will enter Sunday's game with a 2-2 CAA record and a 5-7 overall mark. The Tribe defeated Drexel in their last outing, 2-0. Sarah Segan has four goals and two assists to lead the William & Mary offense, while Katelyn Briguglio has a 1.49 goals against average and a .766 save percentage in goal.

The Pride is 15-8-2 all-time versus Northeastern and has won each of the last four meetings. Hofstra holds an 8-11-2 record against William & Mary but has won three of the last four encounters.

Both games will feature Pride Productions live video with audio provided by WRHU-FM (88.7). Live statistics will also be available. Links can be found above or on the women's soccer schedule page of GoHofstra.com.

Following Sunday's game, Hofstra will be on the road for games at Drexel (Oct. 11) and Elon (Oct. 14).
