Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra University Women's Soccer team will look to get back on track Thursday night at Drexel in the first of two Colonial Athletic Association road games this week. Hofstra will be at Elon on Sunday. Game time Thursday night is at 6 p.m. while kickoff on Sunday is set for 12 p.m.

The Pride (9-5-1, 3-2-1 CAA) is coming off an 0-1-1 week that saw the team drop a 1-0 game to first-place Northeastern and settle for a 1-1 draw against William & Mary. The Pride narrowly avoided defeat in that game, despite 37 shots, as
Miri Taylor scored the tying goal with three minutes to play.Â

Drexel is 5-5-4 on the season and 2-3 in league action. The Dragons are coming off a 2-0 win over Delaware at home this past Sunday. Shaelyn McCarty leads Drexel with six goals and an assist for 13 points.  Kiera Henessy has three goals, while Emma Heckenberg leads the Dragons with three assists. Libby Baeza has a 0.85 goals against average and 62 saves in net. Hofstra is 18-4 all-time versus Drexel.Â

Elon is currently 3-6-3 overall and 1-3 in the CAA prior o hosting William & May Thursday night. The Phoenix lost at Northeastern in their last outing, 2-0. Taylor Paradoski leads the Elon offense with four goals while Hannah Doherty has a goal and two assists. Tori Baliatico has a team-best three assists and Valentina Estrada has compiled a 1.34 goals against average and 55 saves in goal. The Pride is 4-0-0 all-time versus Elon.
