Stony Brook, N.Y. – The Hofstra Women's Soccer team will conclude its non-conference schedule on Thursday, heading to Stony Brook for the Battle of Long Island at 7 p.m.

The Pride (3-3-2) went unbeaten at home last weekend, defeating Fordham, 1-0, on Friday night, before playing to a scoreless draw with Monmouth on Sunday. Senior goalkeeper
Jenna Borresen earned her first two career starts and her first two career shutouts, holding opponents scoreless for 200 minutes and making six saves. She was named Colonial Athletic Association Defensive Player of the Week for her efforts.

Noriana Radwan in the sixth minute to give the Pride the victory.
The Seawolves are 2-5 on the season so far after dropping their last four and being held off the scoreboard in their last three. Their two wins came against Iona and UMass.
Freshman Rachel Florenz leads the team in scoring with three goals and has been named the America East Rookie of the Week twice this season. Julie Johnstonbaugh is second on the team with a goal and an assist. In goal, Sofia Manner has played six of the team's seven games, making 26 saves and posting a .743 save percentage and 1.50 goals-against average.
Hofstra and Stony Brook have met 12 times in program history, but just twice in the past decade. The Pride holds a 9-3 advantage in the series, including winning the past seven meetings. The teams last squared off in 2015, when Hofstra took a 2-1 win, with
