Hastings-on-Hudson, NY - Larissa Stergiou carded an 82 (+10) to lead Hofstra during the first round of the St. John's Women's Intercollegiate at St. Andrew's Golf Club Monday afternoon. The Pride is fourth in the six-team event at 346 (+58).
 
Amanda Bigger shot an 83 (+11) and is tied for 14th in the 32-player field. Ana Sofia Rodriguez is tied for 20th at 89 (+17), while Shannon Haselton is 24th at 92 (+20). Katie Krahulik is 26th after one with at 106 (+34).
 
Brown's Brittany Park is the individual leader at 72 (E). Five other golfers are tied for second at 76 (+4).
 
Brown also holds the team lead at 309 (+21). St. Johns is second at 312 (+24) with Quinnipiac in third at 325 (+313). Hofstra is fourth, Fairfield is fifth at 363 (+75) and St. Francis Brooklyn is sixth at 491 (+203).
 
The final round of the SJU Women's Intercollegiate will take place Tuesday.
