The Pride (8-6, 1-2 Colonial Athletic Association) picked up its first conference win of the season on Friday night, topping Towson, 70-61, on the road. Four Hofstra players finished in double figures, led by senior Krystal Luciano, who recorded 19 points and chipped in six assists. Junior Ashunae Durant picked up her conference-leading ninth double-double of the season with 14 points and 15 rebounds. Junior Aleana Leon (13 points) and freshman Ana Hernandez Gil (10 points) also finished in double figures, and senior Sandra Dongmo pulled down 11 rebounds.

Durant leads the conference in rebounds per game with 10.9, which ranks 11th nationally. Luciano's 6.0 assists per game also tops the CAA and ties her for 23rd in Division I.

Delaware (7-8, 1-3 CAA) fell to James Madison, 66-51, at home Friday night. The Blue Hens' conference win came over UNCW. Out of conference, Delaware picked up wins over George Mason, American and Princeton.

Nicole Enabosi is one of three players averaging double figure scoring, leading the team with 12.7 points per game. She also leads on the boards with 9.2 rebounds per game, good for second in the conference behind Durant. Hannah Jardine ranks second in the CAA for three-point field goal percentage at .463.

As a team, the Blue Hens shoot .363 from the field and average 55.4 points per game.

Delaware leads the all-time series with the Pride, 55-12, but the teams split the season series in 2015-16, with both sides winning on home court.

After the matchup with the Blue Hens, Hofstra stays home for a Friday matinee against UNCW. Tip-off is set for noon, and the Pride will host its annual What I Want To Be Day.
