WSOC: Galton Ranked 61st By Top Drawer Soccer

Hempstead, N.Y. – Hofstra junior forward Leah Galton was ranked 61st in Top Drawer Soccer's national top-100 list released today.

Galton made the postseason list after tying teammate Sam Scolarici for the Colonial Athletic Association lead with 17 goals. She topped the league with 38 points after posting four assists and logging more than 1,500 minutes in starting all 21 games.

Two weeks ago, Galton earned an All-Mid-Atlantic Region first team selection. Galton (Harrogate, England) was one of just 30 finalists for the College Boot Award, which is given to the top women's college soccer player.

She was one of four players from the CAA to make the NCAA Division I All-Mid-Atlantic squad and one of just four forwards to make the first team overall. Galton has scored 36 goals with 92 career points in 62 games.

Galton won her second consecutive CAA Player of the Year award in 2014 after also winning the league's Rookie of the Year in 2012.
