MGOLF: Hofstra, Won Fourth After One Round At Binghamton

David Won is in fourth place after one round at Binghamton

Apalachin, NY - Sophomore David Won shot a 69 (-3) and is tied for fourth after one round of the Binghamton Fall Invitational at the Links at Hiawatha Landing. Hofstra is in fourth place in the 16-team field at 289 (+1).

Won is tied with George Williams of LIU Brooklyn in the 91-player field and is just two strokes off the lead. Brandon Shin shot a 72 (E) and is tied for 13th. David Mecca and Sean Cavanaugh both shot 74 (+2) and are tied for 30th place. Jonathan Farber wrapped up Hofstra's team entry with a first round 79 (+7) and is tied for 71st. Johnson Ko, golfing as an individual entrant, is tied for 42nd at 76 (+4).  

Bucknell's Peter Scialabba is the first round leader after shooting a 67 (-5). Delaware, which has three golfers in the top 10, is the team leader at 279 (-9).

The final round of the Binghamton Fall Invitational gets underway with a shotgun start at 8:45 a.m.
