WGOLF: Hofstra 13th After One Round At Towson

Phoenix, MD - Sophomore Andrea Neilson shot a 79 (+7) and is tied for 31st after one round at the Towson Tiganelli Invitational at the Towson Golf and Country Club. Hofstra is 13th in the 15-team field with a 326 (+38).

Classmates Victoria Snak and Jai Ghuman are tied for 49th at 82 (+10), while freshman Amanda Bigger made her collegiate debut with a 83 (+11) and is tied for 56th. Sophomore Jacquie Faldetta is in 77th place after 18-holes with a 93 (+21).

Mallory Cortis of St. Francis (PA) is the individual leader after an opening round 73 (+1). Delaware and Towson share the team lead at 303 (+15).

Play resumes Monday morning at 8 a.m. with final round action. Hofstra begins to tee-off at 8:18 on hole 10. Faldetta starts things off followed by Bigger at 8:27, Ghuman at 8:36, Snak at 8:45 and Neilson at 8:54.
