ATH: Congratulations Hofstra Graduates

Hempstead, NY - Hofstra University celebrated its Spring 2013 commencement exercises on Sunday, May 19 at the Mack Sports Complex.

Student-athletes from Hofstra's 17 teams were among the graduates honored on Sunday.

Among the many speakers at the graduation were Hofstra President Stuart Rabinowitz, Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs Lawrence Herbert Distinguished Professor Herman Berliner and Senator Charles E. Schumer.

The graduation speaker for the 9 a.m. ceremony was Harvard economist Roland Fryer, while the speaker at the 1:30 p.m. ceremony was Hofstra alumna and president of Mars Chocolate North America Debra A. Sandler.

The Hofstra University Department of Athletics congratulates all the graduates in the Class of 2013! Go Pride!!!
