Hempstead, NY - Hofstra dropped just three games in winning all six singles matches in a 6-0 win over St. Francis Tuesday afternoon.

Hofstra improved to 3-6 with the win, while the Terriers fall to 1-6.

Sarah Bowen won at first singles, 6-1, 6-1, over Luda Lisovska at first singles. Sonia Tsay defeated Camille Petrizzo, 6-0, 6-1 at second singles, which would mark the final game that Hofstra would drop. Malissa Gilanchi blanked Akuila Edwards, 6-0, 6-0, at third singles, while Louise Lopez won by the same score over Jovana Bojinovic at fourth singles. Bianca Derrick posted 6-0, 6-0, win over Dragana Dzigurski at fifth singles and Paige Polizois wrapped things up with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Sara Sooy at sixth singles.

The teams did not compete in doubles.

Hofstra is back in action Thursday versus Fairfield. Match time at the Hofstra Outdoor Tennis Center is 3 p.m.
