Poughkeepsie, NY - Sarah Bowen and Louise Lopez won their respective singles matches, but Marist took the other four as well as the doubles point in a 5-2 win Monday. The Pride fell to 2-6 with the loss.

Bowen defeated Kelsey Raynor at second singles, 6-4, 6-0, while Lopez won at fifth singles, 6-0, 6-0, over Kaye Eastman.

Hofstra will be back in action Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 when it hosts St. Francis (NY) at the Hofstra Outdoor Tennis Center.
