Neshanic Station, NJ - Chris Davis shot an 81 (+9) and tied for 33rd place as the Pride placed eighth at the nine-team Peacock Invitational, hosted by Saint Peter's, at the Neshanic Valley Golf Club Tuesday afternoon.

Connell McNamara shot an 83 (+11) and tied for 38th in the 51-player field. Andrew Roberts was 40th at 84 (+12), while Harry Poster placed 47th at 89 (+17). Justin Nash rounded out the scoring for the Pride with a 94 (+22) to finish 48th.

The Pride posted a score of 337 (+49) and were 46 shots behind team champion Bucknell, which shot a combined 291 (+3). Iona's Dylan Newman and Bucknell's Jeff Pike tied for the individual lead at 71 (-1), but Newman won the tiebreaker to earn the championship.

The Pride return to action this Friday at the Manhattan College Invitational at the Cherry Valley Club in Riverhead, NY.
