Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra Tennis teams competed at home for the final time in 2009-10 and the Pride earned a split against conference rival George Mason as the women defeated the Patriots, 5-2, while the men dropped a 5-1 decision.

The women improved to 9-5 with the win and the men saw their record fall to 1-14 with the defeat.

Both teams will close the regular season on Monday when they travel to Stony Brook for a 2 p.m. match.
