Williamsburg, VA - Freshman Erica Barnes shot an 88 (+16) and finished tied for 94th at the C&F Bank Invitational at the Ford's Colony Country Club. Junior Amy Hoffmann also tied for 94th as the Pride posted a 21st place finish.
Barnes cut four strokes off her first round score to finish with a two-day 180 (+36). Hoffmann, who shot an 85 in round one, slipped to a 95 (+23) in round two to also score a 180. Sophomore Ali Wakefield shot an 89 (+17), shaving nine strokes off her round one score, to finish tied for 101st at 187 (+43). Freshman Jenna Masnyk placed 107th at 191 (+47) after a second round 95, while senior Allie Hanlon tied for 108th at 194 (+50). Hanlon posted a 98 (+26) on Sunday.
The Pride posted a team score of 736. Host William & Mary won the team championship with a two-round total of 612. Longwood's Kameron Carter won the individual title after carding back-to-back scores of 73 for a score of 146 (+2).
The team returns to actiuon at the University of Cincinnati Spring Invitational in Crystal River, Florida.
