HOFSTRA DROPS 6-1 DECISION TO MONMOUTH

West Long Branch, NJ - Jason Sinkoff won his singles match easily, defeating his opponent 6-2, 6-0 at sixth singles, but it was not enough as the Hofstra Men's Tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to Monmouth on Sunday afternoon.

Hofstra gave the Hawks a battle at the third doubles match as the duo of Josh Levinson and Tyler Allen dropped a hard-fought 8-7 (7-4) match.

In singles play, Sinkoff led the way with his win, while Levinson had a close match at third singles dropping a 7-6 (9-7), 6-3 match.

Hofstra returns to the court on Sunday when they travel to Boston University for a 12 p.m. match.
