Charleston, SC - The Hofstra men's tennis team opened Coastal Athletic Association play on Thursday afternoon with a 6-1 loss to Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina.
Alex Di Fruscia defeated Jakub Solarski in a three-set thriller to earn the No. 1 singles win for the Pride. Charleston advanced to 8-4 on the season and 1-0 in conference play with the win, while Hofstra fell to 0-12 overall and 0-1 in CAA play.
