Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra men's tennis team fell 6-1 to Coastal Athletic Association opponent Monmouth on Saturday afternoon from the Hofstra Tennis Courts in Hempstead, New York. With the loss, Hofstra dropped to 0-15 on the season and 0-3 in CAA play, while the Hawks advanced to 13-4 overall and 1-0 against conference opponents.

Hideki Matsuoka prior to the match. Anderson earned a hard fought three-set victory over Monmouth's Ota Ungerman at No. 4 singles.
