Hempstead, NY - Hofstra University Women's Golf Coach Maren Crowley announced the signing of Jenna Masnyk (Lincoln, RI) to a National Letter of Intent during the spring signing period. Masnyk will join the Pride in September and is part of a recruiting class that includes Kelly Sullivan (Bedford, MA) and Erica Barnes (Kensington, CT), who signed during the early signing period last fall.

"I am looking forward to Jenna joining the Hofstra Women's Golf team next fall and believe she will be a great addition to the roster," said Crowley.

Masnyk lettered in golf and field hockey at Lincoln High School, where she earned first team All-Rhode Island accolades as a sophomore and junior after being named to the second team as a freshman.

As a sophomore in 2007 Masnyk placed sixth at the Rhode Island Interscholastic League state championship and in 2008 took home third place honors.

A team captain in both sports as a senior, Masnyk is also a member of the Rhode Island Honor Society and plans to major in communications at Hofstra.
