In the final regular season tournament of the year, the Hofstra Men's Golf Team finished 15 in the ODU/Seascape Collegiate Tournament this past weekend in Richmond, VA.
Sophomore Blake Gianniny led the Pride with a 153 in the two-day event. Gianniny shot an 81 in the first round, but then improved in the second round and recorded a 72. As a team, Hofstra shot a 326 in the first round and a 311 in the second round for a total score of 637.
The host Monarchs finished first in the tournament shooting a 291 and a 279 for a total score of 570. The individual leader was Scott Marino from James Madison University. Marino shot a 68 in the first round and a 69 in the second round for a total finish of 137, five under par.
With the end of the ODU Tournament, the Pride wrap-up the fall season and start preparing for the spring.
