Greg Miceli is in his third season as an assistant coach with the Hofstra women’s lacrosse program. He joined the Pride in August 2024.
Hofstra won 10 games during the 2026 season, finishing second in the CAA standings and compiling a stellar 6-1 regular season conference record. Seven members of the program earned All-CAA honors as the program continued its upward ascent.
Miceli helped lead Hofstra to nine wins in 2025.
Miceli came to Hofstra after spending the past eight seasons at Stony Brook University. Miceli spent his first two seasons with the Seawolves as a volunteer assistant coach before being promoted to assistant coach in 2018.
While on staff at Stony Brook, Miceli oversaw the team's defensive system and strategies. The Seawolves advanced to the NCAA Tournament in each season with Miceli on staff, and his defenses ranked among the top 10 in NCAA Division I women's lacrosse every year. The 2022 squad led the nation in scoring defense.
Prior to his time at Stony Brook, he was an assistant coach with Team Italy in 2010 and 2012.
Miceli graduated from Stony Brook in 2012 with a bachelor of science in business management with a focus in marketing. He played on the Stony Brook men’s lacrosse team during his undergraduate career, while also competing for Team Italy in 2010 and Team Canada’s U-19 squad in 2008.
