Hofstra University Athletics

Second season on the Hofstra cross country and track team roster…since 2009.

2009: Ran in five cross country meets and competed in track as a freshman…Also a member of the Hofstra club lacrosse team...Suffered a recurring ankle injury starting as a freshman with a healthy recovery...Placed 15th in the NJIT Invitational 6K race with a time of 27:41…Finished in 18th place at the Hofstra 5K with a time of 22:29…Ran in the 6K CAA Championship…Also ran in the 5K ECAC Championship...Competed in multiple track events...Posted a time of 12:04 in the 3000m race at the Yale Springtime Invitational and a 21:04 in the 5000m race at the Monmouth Season Opener.

2010: Competed in cross country meets as a sophomore...Ran in the 6K CAA Championship and placed 95th with a time of 26:51...Competed in the 5K ECAC Championship and placed 173rd with a time of 22:27...A spring 2010 Dean's List selection at Hofstra...Transferred to Pennsylvania State University.

High School: Four-year member of the varsity cross country, indoor track and lacrosse teams at East Greenwich High School (RI)…DII Lacrosse team champions in 2006...Indoor track team class champions in 2007...Member of the cross country New England Championships in 2007 and 2008; Ranked all-class and all-division in cross country in 2007 and 2008...All-class honors in the 4x800 relay team in indoor track in 2009.

Personal: Passionate about health and fitness, healthcare, lacrosse, tennis, hiking, swimming, dancing with friends, snowboarding and enjoys being outdoors, as well as, reading in her free time...Health Professions and Human Services major with an interest in Healthcare Law and Policy.
