Mike Leone joins the Hofstra University Department of Athletics as the Coordinator of Video and Player Development for the women’s basketball program beginning in July 2024.
Leone comes to Hofstra following a three-year tenure as a volunteer assistant coach for the women’s basketball program at St. Joseph’s University (NY) from October 2021 through March 2024. With the Golden Eagles, Leone was primarily responsible for reviewing and analyzing game statistics, as well as game practice and film, and developing opposing scouting reports. In addition to his work with St. Joseph’s, Leone was a head and assistant coach at the AAU and the high school levels in the Long Island area.
As a native of Long Island, Leone graduated from Farmingdale State College in May 2022 with his bachelor’s degree in business management.
