Reames joined the Hofstra Women's Basketball staff as an assistant coach in July 2018.

Reames spent the 2017-18 season as an assistant coach at Longwood, developing strategic drill work for individual performance for both guard and post players, as well as working with student-athletes as an academic coach. With his help, Autumn Childress was named an honorable mention All-Big South selection, while Kate Spradlin was named to the conference’s all-academic team.

Prior to his time at Longwood, Reames spent seven years as the head coach of the Philly Triple Threat AAU girls’ basketball team for 9th-11th graders, leading the team to a 2012 Chicago Nike National Championship. His squad also finished runner-up in the Boo Williams Invitational in 2013 and earned an Elite 8 appearance in the Tennessee Battle of the Boro in 2015. Reames helped numerous players earn Division I scholarships in his tenure.

He also served as the head coach of the Harriton High School girls’ varsity basketball team in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, from 2012-16, leading the team to the most wins in a four-year span in school history. Reames helmed the squad to a pair of Central League semifinal and AAAA District appearances while posting the best regular season in school history in 2013-14 with an 18-5 record.

Reames was a three-time all-conference selection at Cabrini, finishing his career with 937 points. He graduated in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing.
