Alex Rosen joins the Hofstra women’s basketball staff as the video coordinator for the 2022-23 season.

Rosen comes to Hofstra after serving in a variety of video roles, most recently with the WNBA as a freelance video coordinator from May 2022. He captured video highlights of New York Liberty and Connecticut Suns games. He also worked with the Westchester Knicks of the NBA G-League as a team videographer since November 2021, and as a digital content assistant with Overtime since August 2021.

Rosen started out as a videographer for the Sacred Heart University athletics department from 2017-2021, working closely with their men’s and women’s basketball programs to record in-game highlights and to produce various content for their social media channels. Rosen is a double graduate of Sacred Heart University, earning his bachelor’s degree in communications studies in 2020 before receiving his master’s degree in sports communications and media in 2021.
