Kim Kastuk joined the Hofstra field hockey coaching staff as a staffing assistant in September 2026. She will work primarily as the goalkeeping coach for the Pride.
Kastuk brings years of experience at both the high school and club levels, where she has worked with athletes at the highest levels of field hockey, specializing in goalkeeping. She is also a life coach and college prep & mindset mentor, while also coaching at the club level for CT Elite.
Kastuk was a standout netminder at the University of Virginia for two seasons in 2009 and 2010, where was an All-America selection in both campaigns as the Cavaliers went to the NCAA Final Four each year. She also excelled at Boston University, where she was the America East Rookie of the Year in 2007 before winning America East Goalkeeper of the Year in 2008.
Kastuk earned her undergraduate degree in kinesiology and exercise science and master’s degree in health and physical education from the University of Virginia.
