Tyler White, a 2020 graduate of Hofstra University and a four-year member of the Pride baseball team, is in his first year as a volunteer assistant in 2021.
White, a valuable utility player for the Pride, played in 95 games with 52 starts during his career and saw time at second base, third base, and both corner outfield positions. He recorded 34 hits, six doubles, four home runs, 17 RBIs and 27 runs scored during his tenure. He also stole nine bases and posted a .980 fielding percentage for his career. Academically, White was a multi-time CAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll and Hofstra Athletic Director Scholars Academic Honor Roll selection. He also served on Hofstra's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee as a representative of the baseball team.
A native of Holtsville, New York, White graduated in May 2020 with a degree in criminology and is currently enrolled at DeSales University in Pennsylvania, where he is pursuing a graduate degree in criminal justice with a concentration in forensic investigation.
