Deanna Sisti was named an assistant athletic trainer at Hofstra in August 2019. She will work directly with the Pride men's soccer and baseball programs.
Sisti comes to Hofstra by way of Molloy College, where she served in a similar role since 2016. With the Lions, she worked with the men’s and women’s rugby, field hockey, men’s lacrosse, and women’s lacrosse programs.
Prior to Molloy, Sisti worked at the Long Island University Brooklyn and Post Campuses as well as Nassau County County Community College as a student assistant. In addition to her intercollegiate athletics experience, Sisti has worked with the Nassau County Hockey League, ESPN Wide World of Sports, Professional Physical Therapy and Bethpage Physical Therapy.
Sisti is NATABOC certified, and also has certifications in being a professional rescuer (2016), Graston Technique (2017), and cupping (2019).
Sisti attended Stony Brook University from 2009 to 2011, and eventually earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from LIU Brooklyn, which she attended from 2012 to 2016.
