Biography

 

Has started 109 out of 110 total games in right field the past two seasons and is expected to start there again this year…Should also bat in the middle of the Hofstra line-up again…Has tallied 130 RBIs in her career (tied for seventh in program history) while becoming the first player in Hofstra history to reach 40 RBIs in each of her first three seasons.

2012: First-team All-Colonial Athletic Association selection…NFCA First-team All-Northeast Region pick…
Played and started 56 games…Batted .316 on the season, making her one of four players to hit better than .300…Tied Becca Bigler for the team-lead in home runs with 11 while tallying a Hofstra-best 45 RBIs…Tied for the CAA lead in home runs and lead the league in RBIs…Batted .426 with 18 RBIs in just 19 conference games…Led Hofstra with 14 multi-RBI games…Posted a .407 on-base percentage and handled 41 of 43 total chances in right field…Went 3-for-3 with two home runs and a career-high five RBIs in a win over Fordham on April 17…Went 4-for-4 with a RBI at Delaware on April 8…Recorded a hit and scored a run in a NCAA Regional victory over San Diego State on May 19…Had a hit against USF in Game 3 of the Super Regional on May 26.

Started all 53 games…Batted .335 (tops among full-time starters) with nine home runs and 44 RBI…Hit a grand slam in a win over Purdue at the Florida Atlantic University Invitational on March 12, helping her earn CAA Player of the Week honors…Had an RBI double in a 2-1 win over Virginia…Homered and had four RBs in a 9-0 win over Delaware in the first round of the CAA Tournament…Had a key seventh inning single in a 1-0 win over Georgia State in a winner’s bracket game of the CAA Tournament…Ended the season with an 11-game hitting streak…Homered and had four RBIs in a 5-1 win over UNC Wilmington on May 1…Batted 4-for-4 and tied a Hofstra record with four runs scored in a win over George Mason on April 9…Had a tiebreaking two-run single with two outs in the seventh inning of a 3-1 road win over Drexel on March 26…Homered in both games of a doubleheader with James Madison on April 16, while batting 5-for-11 with six RBIs in the three-game series…Had a go-ahead RBI double in the sixth inning of a 4-1 win over Georgia State in the regular season finale on May 7…Was 4-for-7 with a solo homer in a doubleheader sweep of Towson on April 24…Hit .418 with five homers and 22 RBIs in conference games.

Started all 57 games, one of only two players on the Pride to start every game (along with senior Kris Root)…Batted .318 with five home runs and 41 RBIs, tying for the team lead for runs batted in (with Michele DePasquale)…Came one RBI shy of the Hofstra freshman record held by Ashley Lane…Had a two-run double in the first inning of the NCAA Regional finals against No. 3 Arizona, as well as a key single in the ninth inning to set up a go-ahead run…had three hits in two games against Arizona, and was robbed by diving plays by defenders two other times…Also was 1-for- 2 with two runs scored and a sacrifice fly in an 8-6 win over No. 14 Oklahoma State in the first game of the regional…Was 2-for-3 with a double and a RBI in the CAA championship game against Georgia State…Also homered in a 2-0 win over Georgia State in the regular season, which clinched the regular season title for the Pride…Batted 5-for-7 with five RBIs in the George Mason series…Was 3-for-3 against Princeton, St. John’s and Iona…Was 2-for-3 with a home run against Wright State on her second day of collegiate competition at the USF/La Quinta Inn Invitational…Homered onto the roof of the Mack Sports Complex lobby in a loss to LIU, the second time in Hofstra Softball Stadium history that a home run hit the Mack Sports Complex on a fly…Earned CAA Rookie of the Week honors on April 25…Hit .319 in conference games.

Played four years of softball at Saint Mark’s High School in Wilmington, Delaware…Was a two-time first-team all-conference selection in the outfield…Also earned second-team honors as a sophomore, when she pitched for the Spartans…Was an all-state selection as a senior.
