Third season on the Hofstra Softball roster…Used as a pinch-hitter while also earning spot starts at second base the past two seasons.

2013: Appeared in 14 games, making three starts…Went 6-for-17 for a .353 average…Compiled 10 total bases in just 17 at-bats for a .475 on-base percentage and .588 slugging percentage…Hit her first collegiate home run in a pinch-hitting appearance versus CCSU on March 17…Reached base safely and scored in her first three plate appearances of the season, including a run and two stolen bases at UNC Wilmington on March 23…Went 1-for-3 with a run scored in her first start of the season at Seton Hall on April 16…Went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and a walk in a start at Fairfield on May 1.

2012: Appeared in nine games, making all five of her starts at second…Lined three hits in 14 at-bats…Scored two runs…Picked up her first career hit in her second collegiate at-bat against Drexel on April 1…Went 1-for-2 with a walk and her first career extra-base hit with a triple at Delaware on April 8…Posted a .929 fielding percentage…CAA Commissioner’s Academic Award recipient.

High School: Played four years of varsity softball at Caravel Academy…Led the Buccaneers to state championships in 2009 and 2010 and to runner-up finishes in her freshman and sophomore seasons…As a second baseman, earned first-team all-state selections in 2009 and 2010…Also played three years of varsity volleyball and one season of field hockey.

Personal: Born May 9, 1993…Started playing softball at age 7…Lists Derek Jeter as her favorite athlete…Plans to major in speech-language and hearing sciences…”Sweet Home Alabama” is her favorite movie…Chose Hofstra to pursue her major and for its softball program.
