Second year on the Hofstra Football team...Will be looking for time in a back-up role on the offensive line in 2009...2008: Hofstra Athletics Academic Honor Roll member...Red-shirted as a true-freshman and did not play...High School: Was a three-year varsity member of the football team and a four-year member of the track team at Charlotte (NC) Country Day School...Named to all-state and all-conference first teams, as well as the All-Charlotte Observer Team...Team Defensive Player of the Year after recording 53 tackles and 12 tackles for losses in 2007...All-conference first team and honorable mention all-state selection  as a junior after 50 tackles and nine tackles for losses...Started in the Oasis All-Star Shrine Game...Was conference champion and second in the state in the discus as a senior...Senior class vice president...Personal: Born June 23, 1989...One sister...His father, Ken, was a football player and swimmer at Colgate University, while his sister, Lauren, was a rower at Wellesley...Enjoys music, writing poetry and traveling in his free time...Recruited by Dartmouth, Brown, Holy Cross and Wofford...Business major.
