Was a member of the Monticello High School varsity softball team for four seasons…Recorded 557 strikeouts in 293 innings pitched from the circle, including a career-high 217 strikeouts in 116 innings as a junior (2024)…Helped the Mustangs to a district championship as a senior (2025)…Set VHSL records for most strikeouts in a game (21, 2022) and consecutive no hitters (4, 2024)…A three-time All-District selection (2023-25)…A two-time First Team All-Region honoree (2023, 2025)…Named the District and Central Virginia Player of the Year as a senior (2025)…Led the state with 0.60 ERA as a sophomore (2023)…A member of the national honors society as a junior (2024) and a senior (2025).

Daughter of Wilbert and Elizabeth Steppe…Mother, Elizabeth (softball and volleyball), and father, Wilbert (baseball and basketball) both played collegiately at Lynchburg College.
