Played for a strong high school program at Montverde Academy in Florida for head coach Kevin Sutton, which finished 23-2 in 2005 and was ranked as high as fourth in the nation...Montverde was also ranked #21 in the nation in the USA Today preseason poll heading into the 2004-05 campaign...Averaged 17.5 points and 12.3 rebounds as a junior and 12.1 points and 8.2 rebounds as a senior...Was named to four All-Tournament teams, including two MVP awards as a junior...Named to three All-Tournament teams, including one MVP as a senior...Was rated in the top 20 high school prospects in Florida by Floridahoops.com...Also recruited by Central Florida, Furman, Iona, Ohio State and USC...Plans to major in psychology at Hofstra...Has one sister...Nicknamed "Pitts"...Has worked with the Special Olympics...Born May 15, 1986.
