Nikki Mennella had five points on two goals and three assists against the Scarlet Knights, while
Luchianna Cardello tallied a season-best 12 saves in the contest.
Maryland, which was ranked No. 3 in the nation in last week's IWLCA poll, is 5-0 in 2026 and most recently captured a 16-12 win over #14 Princeton on Saturday. Kristen Shanahan had five points on three goals and two assists for Maryland in that contest.
This will be the 10th all-time meeting between Hofstra and Maryland with the visitors capturing all nine of the previous meetings. The teams last met in 2020 with then-#10 Maryland earning a 16-11 win over the Pride.
