Hempstead, NY - Hofstra won four singles flights and all three doubles matches to pick up a win over Morgan State on day one of the Hofstra Invitational. 

Caleb Tobler (1), Jacob Maravillas (2) and Amir Albeg (4) each won in straight sets, while Matias Lofink had to rally from a set down to win in three at No. 3. In doubles, Maravillas and Lofink won at the first flight, Tobler and William Albrikes won at No. 2, and Albeg and Raqeem Virani dropped just one game in a win at No. 3. 

The remainder of the Hofstra Invitational was rained out and the Pride will return to action October 3-4 at the Army West Point Invitational
