Deja Vu; Hofstra Records Sixth Consecutive Draw Sunday

Hempstead, NY - Lilly Bailey made two saves and Hofstra controlled play but could not find the back of the net in a 0-0 draw with visiting Campbell Sunday in a CAA matchup at Captains Field. The Pride held a 17-5 advantage in shots in recording its program record sixth consecutive tie.

Hofstra moved to 3-1-6 overall and 0-0-2 in the CAA. The six draws match the program record set last season. Campbell is 2-4-3 overall and 0-1-1 in league action.

Bailey made a save in each half with her second half stop in the 79th minute on a shot inside the near post by Mia Fairchild. Campbell's Anais van Doesburg made four saves, including a late save on Manon Lebargy's drive in the 84th minute that seemed destined for goal.

Hofstra will be off until next Sunday, September 28, when it takes on Towson at 1 p.m. in Maryland.
