Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra men's basketball program announced another non-conference game for the upcoming season today as the Pride will head to Philadelphia on Wednesday, November 19 to take on Temple University.
The game will be played at The Liacouras Center. Tip time, broadcast information, and ticket information will be announced at a later date.
The trip to Temple will be the first of three trips to the city of Philadelphia during the 2025-26 season as the Pride is taking part in the Cathedral Classic at The Palestra and will also make a CAA visit to Drexel.
The game will be the 20th all-time meeting between Hofstra and Temple. The Owls lead the series 13-6. The schools were conference rivals in both the Middle Atlantic Conference and the East Coast Conference from 1969-70 to 1981-82. Prior to meeting last season, the most recent meeting between the teams was during the 1981-82 season. The first-ever meeting occurred during the 1964-65 season and Hofstra's most recent victory in the series was a 50-49 win on February 6, 1980.
