Hempstead, NY - The first announced game of the Hofstra men's basketball 2025-26 schedule was released today, and it's a big one, as the Pride will travel to Syracuse to face the Orange on Saturday, December 13. 

The game will be played at the JMA Wireless Dome. Tip time, broadcast information, and ticket information will be announced at a later date. 

This will be the fourth all-time meeting between the New York schools and the first since December 22, 2006. The first-ever meeting between the teams was December 4, 2001. Two of the previous meetings saw Hofstra face a ranked Syracuse squad with the Orange ranked #9 for the 2004-05 meeting and #23 when the teams met in 2006-07.
