Oceanside, NY - The Hofstra men's tennis team defeated Colgate, 5-2, Friday night from Point Set Indoor Tennis Academy in Oceanside, New York, after dominating singles play to secure the win. With the win, Hofstra moved to 6-6 on the season, while Colgate dropped to 8-8 overall. 

Colgate secured the doubles point but fell to the Pride in five of six singles matches. Maxim Michaels clinched the win for Hofstra at No. 2 singles with his 6-4, 6-4 victory over Colgate's Aidan Lee.
