Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra men's tennis team earned a 4-3 victory over Bryant on Sunday afternoon from the Hofstra University Tennis Courts in Hempstead, New York.
Eñaut Garcia clinched the win for Hofstra with his 7-5, 6-3 victory against Manveer Boparai at the No. 4 singles slot. The Pride improve to 7-6 with the win, while Bryant drops to 8-9.
Hofstra earned the doubles point with victories from
Maxim Michaels and
Noa Forste-Dinell at No. 1 and
Josh Reynolds and
Kaita Odani at No. 2 doubles. The third doubles match was left unfinished.Â
In singles play the Pride bested Bryant at No. 3, No. 4 and No. 6 singles with wins from
Matthew Garcia,
Eñaut Garcia, and
Noa Forste-Dinell to earn the victory over the Bulldogs.
