West Point, NY - The Hofstra women's tennis team fell to Colgate, 5-2, after their Sunday morning match from West Point, New York.
Colgate swept doubles play to earn the point, while Hofstra bounced back in singles to put up two wins.
Sabira Mohamed defeated Amelia Galin in three sets, 6-0, 6-3, 7-5, at the No. 1 singles spot while
Deniz Soyer bested Anya Kunar 6-3, 6-2 at No. 3.
The Pride dropped to 2-8 on the season with the loss, while Colgate moved to 6-6.
