Hempstead, NY - The Delaware women's tennis team bested Hofstra, 6-1, in a Coastal Athletic Association match on Sunday afternoon from the Hofstra University Tennis Courts in Hempstead, New York. The Blue Hens improved to 11-4 overall and 3-0 in CAA play, while the Pride fell to 2-9 overall and 0-1 with the loss.
Delaware swept all three doubles matches to clinch the doubles point and continued to dominate in singles play.
Deniz Soyer picked up a win for the Pride at the No. 4 singles slot, but Delaware swept the remaining matches to secure their victory.
