Princeton, NJ - The Hofstra women's lacrosse team fell, 20-4, to #13 Princeton on Saturday afternoon.
Hofstra suffered its first loss of the season and dropped to 4-1 this year. Princeton improved to 3-1 with the victory.
The Pride had four different goal scorers in the game with
Jordyn Poll,
Megan Flannery,
Kristen Redding, and
Kayleigh Bender all finding the back of the net.
Emily Weigand led Hofstra with three ground balls, while
Christine Dannenfelser and
Nikki Mennella each tallied four draw controls in the contest.
Kate Lemery and
Zoe Faraone both had a pair of caused turnovers.
Luchianna Cardello made eight saves in net for the Pride.
Haven Dora had eight points on a goal and seven assists for Princeton, while Meg Morrisroe posted four goals and an assist for the Tigers.
Hofstra has a short turnaround until its next game as the Pride will travel to Staten Island on Tuesday for a 6 p.m. game against Wagner.

- Today was the ninth all-time meeting between Hofstra and Princeton in women's lacrosse. The Tigers have won all nine encounters.
