Pride Heads East To Face Seawolves

Hempstead, NY - The final week of the regular season will keep the Pride close to home for a road tilt as the Hofstra men's basketball team will head East to face Stony Brook on Thursday in the second of two meetings during the regular season. 

Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. from Stony Brook Arena.

Hofstra improved to 13-16 overall and 5-11 in CAA play with a 78-65 win over Delaware on Saturday. Cruz Davis tied his career-high with 28 points and Khalil Farmer established a new career-best with 19 points to help in a winning effort. Eric Parnell chipped in with 10 points for the Pride. 

Stony Brook is 6-23 and 2-14 in conference action. The Seawolves dropped an 81-49 decision to Hampton on Monday. CJ Luster II scored 18 points to lead the team. 

Thursday is the 37th all-time meeting between Hofstra and Stony Brook in men's basketball. The Pride holds a commanding 28-8 lead in the all-time series. Hofstra has won four of the last six and nine of the last 12 meetings between the teams. Stony Brook won this season's earlier meeting, 80-75, in Hempstead back on February 8.
