Hempstead, NY – The Hofstra women's basketball team concludes its road trip through the Carolinas on Sunday, February 2, with a trip to South Carolina to face Charleston.
 
Tip-off against the Cougars is set for 1 p.m. from TD Arena.

Hofstra dropped a 70-67 overtime contest to UNCW on Friday to put its record at 9-10 overall and 4-4 in the CAA heading into Sunday's matchup against Charleston. Zyheima Swint led the Pride with 14 points as one of four with double figures, followed by Ramatoulaye Keita with 12 points, and 11 points from Chloe Sterling and Emma Von Essen.
 
Charleston is 14-5 and 5-3 in the conference following a 66-53 home win over Stony Brook. Taryn and Taylor Barbot lead the Cougars in scoring, with Taryn scoring 13.6 points per game and Taylor averaging 11.6 per game.
 
The all-time series record stands at 11-9 in favor of Charleston. The Cougars won the most recent matchup against the Pride; a 64-51 result on January 10 in Hofstra's 2024-25 CAA home opener.
