Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra men's basketball team will make the trek back to its second home, the state of Pennsylvania, when the Pride faces Pitt on Sunday.
Tip-off from the Petersen Events Center is scheduled for 4 p.m.

Hofstra will bring a 5-4 record into this weekend's game. The Pride has won three of its last four contests but dropped a narrow 72-70 game at Columbia in its last game on Wednesday. Hofstra placed three players in double figures in the game as
Cruz Davis had 24 points,
Preston Edmead contributed 16 points, and
Joshua DeCady chipped in with 12 points.
Silas Sunday had a solid game with five points, nine rebounds, two blocks, and two assists.
Pitt is 5-4 this season and most recently dropped an 81-73 home decision to Texas A&M on Tuesday. Barry Dunning Jr. led the Panthers in that game with 18 points and 12 rebounds, while Cameron Corhen added 15 points and eight rebounds.
This is the first-ever meeting between Hofstra and Pitt in men's basketball. Sunday will be Hofstra's 42nd all-time game against the current members of the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Pride will be looking for its sixth all-time victory against the ACC with the most recent win being an 82-77 triumph over Florida State during the 2015-16 season at the Paradise Jam in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
