Hempstead, NY - Senior Izadora Stedile capped an incredible career by being named the CAA Player of the Year, it was announced by the conference office this afternoon.

A total of four players from the Pride were honored as the postseason awards were announced. Freshman Nina Jioshvili-Ravva earned the CAA Setter of the Year Award and was also named to the All-CAA First Team and the CAA All-Rookie Team. Junior Beatriz Braga garnered All-CAA First Team accolades and senior Clara Bal picked up All-CAA Second Team honors. Stedile was also a member of the All-CAA First Team.

Stedile is Hofstra's fourth CAA Player of the Year honoree since joining the league in 2001 and the first since Kelsie Wills in 2014.

Jioshvili-Ravva is Hofstra's seventh CAA Setter of the Year Award recipient and the first since Beatriz Alves in 2022. Jioshvili-Ravva is the first freshman to win the CAA Setter of the Year Award since the inception of the positional award in 2002.

With three players on the first team it marks only the second time since joining the league that Hofstra has had at least three players on the All-CAA First Team (2022).

This is Stedile's fourth postseason honor from the CAA as she was a first team honoree a season ago, a second team recipient in 2022, and a CAA All-Rookie pick in 2022 as well.

Braga has had a breakout regular season for the Pride with 309 kills and 179 digs, along with 41 blocks, 15 service aces, and 12 assists. Braga, who was twice named the CAA Offensive Player of the Week this season, is fourth in the CAA in both kills and points per set and ninth in hitting percentage. Braga previously was named to the CAA All-Rookie Team in 2023.

One of the top freshmen in the nation, Jioshvili-Ravva was incredible during the regular season and amassed team-highs of 856 assists (9.51 per set), 40 service aces, while also adding 199 digs, 46 blocks, and 43 digs.
